Kelly Clarkson reveals the special gifts Taylor Swift sends her ‘every time’ she releases new albums

Kelly Clarkson shared her appreciation for Taylor Swift's thoughtful gifts in a recent interview with E! News. The "Kelly Clarkson Show" host revealed that Swift sends her presents every time she releases a new album, and the latest one was a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Clarkson expressed her admiration for Swift's kindness, saying, "She's so nice. Every time I release something, she always sends me something. I also got a really cute cardigan when she released '1989.' I love how kind she is."

But Swift's generosity isn't the only thing Clarkson admires about her fellow artist. The "Since You Been Gone" singer also praised Swift's savvy business skills.

After her former manager, Scooter Braun, sold the master rights to her first six albums, Swift found a way to regain ownership of her music. Clarkson called her a "very smart businesswoman" for finding a loophole and taking control of her art again. She also acknowledged Swift's skyrocketing success, stating, "She's literally the best-selling artist I feel like of all-time now."

Clarkson was also one of the first people to suggest that Swift re-record her music after Braun acquired her music catalog. In a tweet from July 2019, she encouraged Swift to re-record her songs exactly as they were but with new artwork and added incentives for fans to support the new versions.

Clarkson even vowed to buy all the re-recorded albums to make a point.

At the time, insiders revealed that Swift had the opportunity to purchase her masters but decided to walk away. However, Swift later announced her plan to re-produce her albums in early 2020 during an appearance on "Good Morning America." She expressed her excitement about owning her work and her strong belief that artists deserve to have control over their music. So far, she has re-released four of her original six albums, including "Fearless," "Speak Now," "Red," and "1989."

Swift recently released "1989 (Taylor's Version)" on October 27th, delighting fans with updated versions of her hit songs.

This comes after announcing the album during the US leg of her Eras Tour. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of "Taylor's Versions" of her debut self-titled album from 2006 and 2017's "Reputation."

Meanwhile, Swift kicked off the international leg of her Eras Tour with a concert in Argentina. The highly anticipated tour is expected to continue until the end of 2024, thrilling fans around the world.

As Swift continues to reclaim her music and captivate audiences with her re-recorded albums and energetic live performances, it's clear that her talent and business acumen are a force to be reckoned with. And with Kelly Clarkson cheering her on and appreciating her thoughtful gestures, it's evident that the admiration goes both ways between these two powerhouse artists.
