Seraphina was well aware of Solas's capabilities.

After all, he was the one who had taught her everything she knew.

She handed the pinhole cameras to him with complete confidence, even though she could have hidden them just as well herself.

Standing there, watching Solas's back as he seriously installed the cameras, Seraphina suddenly called out, "Big Brother Solas."

Solas turned to look at her. "Mm?"

She pointed toward the balcony railing. "This is the 30th floor. Below the 20th floor are hotel guest rooms. Directly below this spot is the ninth room on every floor. Starting from today, please book room 2009 in your name for a week."

That meant the ninth room on the 20th floor.

Solas stared at her for a few seconds before saying, "Okay."

He didn't even ask for a reason.

Seraphina looked at him, her lips parting slightly. "...Aren't you going to ask why?"

Solas smiled. "It’s not important. It’s just a small thing. If you ask, how could I not do it? You have your reasons; if you want to tell me, you will. If you don't, I won't pry. I will never force you to do anything you don't want to do."

"I don't plan on inviting you to the Pierce family banquet the day after tomorrow."

Solas was caught off guard. This was completely unexpected.

They finished installing the remaining pinhole cameras. Not all were on the balcony; they placed a few at optimal, hidden spots within the banquet hall itself.

They took the elevator down from the 30th floor.

Neither of them spoke.

Stepping out of the elevator and out of the hotel, Solas could feel that Seraphina had something on her mind, but he didn't ask.

He became even more certain when they ran into someone outside.

The moment she saw the person, Seraphina stopped in her tracks.

"Sis."

It was none other than Leo.

Seraphina paused for a moment before walking toward him. Without a word, she pulled him into a direct hug.

Solas aside, even Leo was stunned.

After the initial shock, Leo looked toward Solas with a questioning glare, as if asking if he had bullied his sister.

Somehow, Solas understood the meaning in Leo's eyes and shook his head.

This gesture didn't mean he liked Leo particularly much.

Previously, he hadn't felt much toward Leo, only viewing him as the brother of the girl he loved—someone to care for by extension. But now...

The closest he had gotten to the girl was holding her arm, yet Leo got a hug.

Jealousy.

And yet, he couldn't use the same tactics he'd use on a love rival against Leo, nor could he show this jealousy. He could only endure it...

Solas nodded. "Hello." He walked toward them.

This was a hotel, after all. Seeing his sister at a hotel with a man made him instinctively guarded.
