"Loving the Enemy" Chapter 11
Before he could fully react, Weston and Natalia were already heading toward the car to leave. Right before the car could pull away, Sebastian rushed over, his fingers gripping the window frame so hard his knuckles turned white. His eyes were filled with madness and despair, his voice a hoarse rasp from his throat. "Nat, you clearly loved me! How could you love someone else? Give me an explanation! Give me an explanation!"
Inside the car, Natalia looked up, her voice tinged with mockery. "Sebastian, what right do you have to ask for an explanation? You used me, hurt me, and even tried to use those videos to shame me. Do you really think I would forgive you?"
Sebastian felt his heart being crushed. Natalia’s words echoed in his mind like knives, each one stabbing deep.
"Nat, baby, I was wrong. Can’t someone have a chance to change when they make a mistake? Don't be so cruel, don't leave... you aren't allowed to go with him, and you definitely aren't allowed to love him."
His voice was a broken plea, his fingers refusing to let go of the window.
"Sebastian, it's over between us. Let me go."
A sound like a massive collapse rang in Sebastian’s head. In the split second he lost focus, the car suddenly accelerated. He stood there, watching the taillights vanish into the distance, his heart feeling completely hollowed out.
The next second, he began to chase the car like a madman. He never imagined he would be this insane for a woman—willing to cast aside every ounce of pride and dignity just to get her back.
Chapter Twenty-One
"Nat! Natalia!"
His voice echoed through the streets, carrying long-repressed pain and regret.
In the car, Weston looked at Sebastian's frantic figure in the rearview mirror and then turned to Natalia. He took a deep breath. "Nat, can you tell me what happened between you two?"
Natalia looked up, her lips trembling. She told him everything that had happened with Sebastian—from how they met, to being used, to the final breakup.
After finishing, Natalia lowered her head, her voice shaking. "Brother, do you think I'm dirty? If you feel..."
Before she could finish, Weston pulled her into a tight, tender embrace. "You are the purest girl I know. I will always love you."
Natalia leaned into his chest, her tears flowing uncontrollably. As he held her, the thought of how Sebastian had harmed his treasure caused a flash of ruthlessness to cross Weston's eyes.
He looked back at Sebastian, who was still chasing the car, and said to the driver, "Turn the car around. Drive straight at him."
The driver hesitated for a moment, but seeing the lethal look in Weston's eyes, he followed the order.
Sebastian saw the car turn around and felt a surge of joy, thinking she had changed her mind. However, a second later, the car suddenly accelerated and slammed into him.

CRASH—
There was a loud thud as his body flew through the air in an arc before crashing heavily onto the ground. Sebastian felt a surge of agonizing pain. He spat out a mouthful of blood, his vision went black, and he lost consciousness.
In a daze, Sebastian felt himself returning to the day he first met Natalia.
That day, his friends pointed at her in the distance and laughed. "Seb, that’s his sister. I’ve already arranged a car to hit her. You go in and play the hero. She’ll definitely fall for you, and that’s how you’ll get your revenge."
His mind roared as if struck by lightning. He shoved his friends aside, his voice filled with urgency. "No! No! I’m not doing the revenge! I’ll give Weston whatever he wants, I just want his sister! I only want her!"
However, it was already too late. The car was already speeding toward her. Sebastian rushed forward like a madman and shoved her out of the way. As a terrified Natalia ran toward him, he smiled and said softly, "Hey there. My name is Sebastian. It’s nice to meet you, isn't it?"
In the hospital room, the smell of disinfectant was pungent. Sebastian suddenly bolted upright in bed, his face as pale as paper. Thick bandages were wrapped around his chest, with blood beginning to seep through, but he seemed unable to feel the pain. He threw back the covers to get out of bed.
His friends, who were guarding the bedside, were overjoyed to see him awake. "Seb! You’re finally awake!"
Sebastian’s mind was a mess. His voice was hoarse. "How... how long was I out? Where’s Natalia? Where is she?"
The friends looked at each other, hesitating. "Seb, you’ve been out for two weeks. The doctor said you almost became a vegetable and wouldn't wake up."
Sebastian’s face paled further, his voice urgent. "Where is she? Where is Natalia?"
After a period of silence, one of them finally whispered, "Natalia and Weston... their wedding is today."
A sound like a thunderclap rang in his head. He sat up abruptly, his voice shaking. "The wedding? They... they're getting married?"
Chapter Twenty-Two
The friends nodded, their expressions filled with a trace of helplessness.
Sebastian felt as though his heart were being squeezed, the pain making it nearly impossible to breathe. His chest was wrapped in thick bandages with blood beginning to seep through, yet he seemed unable to feel the pain. He threw back the covers to get out of bed.
"No, they can't get married. I have to stop it."
"Nat is mine. She belongs to me!"
"Seb! Are you insane?!" His friends rushed forward to block him, their voices laced with anxiety and frustration. "Your injuries haven't even healed! Weston was a ruthless bastard—he broke five of your ribs. You're going there now? Do you want to die?!"

Sebastian’s eyes were filled with madness, his voice a hoarse rasp from his throat. "Losing her makes me feel like I’m already dead! Don't stop me!"
His voice carried long-repressed pain and despair, as if he were venting every ounce of emotion. The friends froze; they had never seen Sebastian like this—the high-and-mighty man who looked down on everyone was now acting like a lunatic who had lost everything, his eyes streaming with tears.
"Seb..." someone called out softly, unable to bear the sight.
But Sebastian didn't seem to hear. He shoved his friends' hands aside and stumbled out. The pain in his chest made it hard to even stand, yet he gritted his teeth and forced himself forward, one step at a time.
The friends exchanged glances, and finally, someone sighed. "Forget it, just help him get there. If we keep this up, he really will lose his mind."
The group supported Sebastian as they hurried to the wedding venue.
The setting was romantic and luxurious—flowers, lights, music—everything looked beautiful. But to Sebastian, it all felt like a mockery of his own stupidity and arrogance.
He pushed open the doors and stumbled into the hall. Every gaze focused on him, and whispers began to ripple through the crowd. But Sebastian didn't notice. His eyes were fixed solely on Natalia.
She wore a pristine white wedding gown, looking as beautiful as a goddess stepped out of a painting. A faint smile played on her face, and her eyes were gentle yet firm. But that smile was not for him.
Sebastian’s heart constricted. He quickened his pace to get in front of her, his voice hoarse. "Nat, don't marry him... please don't marry him..."
Natalia looked up, her eyes holding a complex swirl of emotions. "Sebastian, why are you here?"
Sebastian’s voice carried a desperate plea. "Nat, I know I was wrong. I shouldn't have used you, I shouldn't have hurt you. But I... I’ve truly fallen for you. Give me one more chance, please? I’ll spend the rest of my life making it up to you, loving you."
Natalia’s gaze turned cold, her voice devoid of warmth. "Sebastian, I don't like you anymore. I made it very clear in that text—unlike you, I don't pretend to love when I don't, nor do I pretend I don't when I do. What I said was the truth. I don't love you anymore, and that's a fact. My heart only has room for Weston now."
Hearing her change the way she addressed him—from "Brother" to "Weston"—Sebastian’s mind roared as if struck by lightning. His face turned deathly pale, his voice trembling. "Nat, don't be like this... please don't be like this..."
Natalia said nothing, looking at him with a gaze that didn't waver.
Sebastian felt as if his heart were being crushed; he could barely keep his footing. He suddenly turned to Weston, his voice a broken plea. "Weston, didn't you say you wanted to see me kneel? Fine, I’m kneeling! I’ll kneel for as long as you want! Just give Nat back to me, give me back my baby!"
With a dull thud, he dropped to the floor, his knees slamming hard against the wood. To regain what he loved most, he discarded his greatest pride.
