"The Stand-In’s Redemption: Playing the Billionaire for Real" Chapter 46

Chapter 46: A Person Like You Could Possess Sincerity?

Vivian Hale let out a cold sneer, "To tell you the truth, I have known about your infidelity with Tiffany Rose long ago, so stop speaking so high-soundingly as if you are innocent.

On the absolute first night you found a stand-in to keep me company a month and a half ago, I had already discovered the truth. From that exact moment, everything between us was entirely finished."

"From the very day you betrayed me, I was planning the divorce. That divorce agreement was prepared for you ahead of schedule. Afterward, I moved my things out step by step, yet you failed to notice even a single fraction of anything unusual.

Those days I claimed to head out for a vacation and travel, I was actually inside the country the entire week. I hadn't left at all. Surveillance cameras were installed within the villa, and I watched you bring Tiffany into the house with my own eyes, letting her wear the clothes I wore and sleep in the bed I slept in. Every shred of this constitutes the absolute evidence of your betrayal!"

Adrian Cross staggered backward two steps, his face hideously dark and heavily guilty, the words he wished to speak completely choked in his throat, unable to be squeezed out.

Vivian, however, closed in on him step by step, her gaze sharp as a blade.

"Time and again, you even engaged in flirtations right in front of my face, keeping your feet in two separate boats. Wanting to touch me even after your filthy hands touched her! You truly leave me thoroughly nauseated to the core!"

Adrian’s face was filled with absolute disbelief, and upon realizing that he had been played for a fool, he grew completely exasperated.

"So... every shred of this was your calculation? Then that diagnostic certificate, and those doctor's orders? Are they all fake? You simply wanted to strip away my entire wealth?!"

Vivian countered with a biting remark: "I was able to calculate against you solely because you never once truly cared about my survival from the very beginning to the absolute end. If you had shown even a tiny fraction of care toward me, flipped through my wardrobe, or accompanied me to the hospital for two examinations, could you possibly have failed to discover the truth?"

Adrian was thoroughly tongue-tied by her rebuff.

Staring at this radiant, beautiful face for a long while, he ultimately asked the single question he cared about the absolute most.

"So, did you actually sleep with Silas Vance or not?"

Even when matters had reached a point like this, the thing he cared about the absolute most was actually whether he had been green-lighted.

Vivian was virtually driven to a laugh from rage.

She suddenly felt that there was absolutely nothing worth saying to a person like this.

In any case, everything that was supposed to be said had been concluded.

She didn't plan on continuing to stimulate him either.

To her surprise, at this exact moment, a sudden wave of absolute nausea rippled through her abdomen, and she couldn't restrain herself from bending her waist to dry-heave violently.

"Vomit..."

This sensation arrived abruptly, yet it was exceptionally intense.

Vivian’s brain suffered a sudden flash of dizziness.

She suppressed the sour fluid swirling up from her stomach, her gaze becoming somewhat dazed.

Could she be...

Gazing at her current appearance, Adrian comprehended absolutely everything at this exact moment, instantly struck as if by a sudden bolt of lightning, thoroughly furious and collapsed.

"So you did sleep together, and you are even pregnant, aren't you!"

"Vivian Hale, so you climbed into bed with him the absolute first time you met him. Don't you find yourself cheap? How could you be this utterly shameless!"

He gnashed his teeth with absolute hatred, his twin eyes bloodshot, and he violently stormed forward two steps, extending his hands to clamp onto her neck.

He wanted to choke her to death!

Witnessing his movements, Vivian subconsciously prepared to dodge.

But right at this exact millisecond, a silhouette rushed over with the speed of a pouncing leopard to block right in front of her, lifting a foot to deliver a fierce, heavy kick straight onto Adrian's body.

Caught completely off guard, Adrian was kicked backward a good number of steps.

He clutched his painfully kicked ribs, his features twisting in agony for a fleeting instant.

Lifting his head to clearly discern the arriving person, Adrian’s rage was entirely ignited to the absolute peak.

"Silas Vance, you actually still dare to materialize before my face!"

The two were merely separated by a single meter, yet the air was tightened to the absolute maximum limit.

Their lines of vision crossed, as though one could catch the distinct scent of crackling gunpowder.

The veins violently bulged across the back of Adrian's clenched fist, his voice exasperated.

"It was wasted effort for me to address you as big brother, yet you climbed into bed with my wife, engaging in an illicit affair with her! You are simply a thoroughly shameless deceiver."

The hatred gleaming within his gaze wished it could tear the person into absolute shreds.

Silas opened his mouth with total nonchalance.

"Did I force you to yield Vivian? Did I force you to commit infidelity with Tiffany Rose? Wasn't every shred of this pleaded for by your own self?"

A single sentence blocked Adrian's chest, leaving him thoroughly suffocated and short of breath.

He regretted it, because Tiffany couldn't hold a candle to Vivian at all.

She was nothing more than a trouble-making creature! Vain, and lacking any genuine capability.

She was the one who botched every single shred of this!!

Therefore, he grew even more uncontrollably furious.

"I asked you to keep her company, I never permitted you to overstep. On what grounds do you—"

"You married her, yet you refused to meticulously treasure her and cherish her. You never once placed yourself in her shoes to consider matters for her benefit, so naturally another person will materialize to replace your identity!"

Silas's words were entirely absolute, ringing out with total power.

Vivian’s pupils suffered a subtle vibration, a wave of an indescribable sensation surging through her heart.

Adrian, conversely, was so thoroughly enraged that he was on the verge of spitting out a mouthful of blood.

If he had known ahead of schedule that today's situation would turn out this way, he never would have permitted Silas to take a single step close to her back then.

But it was already far too late to say anything now.

Adrian turned his head to look toward Vivian, his voice carrying an flavor of instigation.

"Vivian Hale, do you truly believe he will genuinely love you? This man, from the absolute beginning, masquerading as me was an entire deception toward you. For you to believe a person like this possesses sincerity—do not be deceived by him again."

Vivian had never once intended to form a future with Silas anyway, so she felt absolutely zero sensation upon hearing these words.

However, she uniquely desired to infuriate Adrian.

She opened her mouth with a smile.

"So what? At the very least, he can bring me pleasure, unlike a useless creature like you. Even if he deceives me, I am perfectly willing, does it have anything to do with you?"

Adrian’s eyes were on the verge of splitting open from fury, nearly driven to absolute death on the spot.

Vivian, however, failed to cast another single glance at him. Silas lifted the person in a horizontal embrace, turning around to return into the apartment together.

Returning home, Silas placed her onto the sofa with exceptionally gentle movements, knitting his brows as he looked at her pale little face.

"Where exactly are you feeling unwell? Do you require me to send you to the hospital?"

Vivian shook her head with absolute exhaustion, explaining.

"Likely because I spent half the day packing up the room and felt a bit tired, added with the fact that I haven't found time to eat yet, so my stomach is experiencing a bit of discomfort."

"I'll go prepare a meal for you?" Silas rose, getting ready to head into the kitchen.

Vivian, however, caught him by his arm, "No need, I possess zero appetite. How about you head back first!"

Right now, she urgently desired to verify a certain matter, and she also wished to dispatch the person away as rapidly as possible.

Silas, however, reached out to pat her head in a soothing manner, "Lie down for a bit longer."

He still stepped into the kitchen.

Approximately a quarter of an hour slipped by, and he emerged holding a cup of honey water.

"Drink a bit to alleviate it."

Silas reclaimed a rare, forceful attitude, feeding her bit by bit until she finished it, before spreading a blanket over her form.

The air conditioning was adjusted to the absolute most suitable temperature as well.

Vivian sat up straight, ultimately giving voice to the words nestled in the depths of her heart.

"Silas Vance, the words I spoke to Adrian Cross moments ago were merely spoken out of spite. Regarding you, it was nothing more than an absolute utilization on my part. Right now, the objective has been achieved, and I do not wish to possess any sort of entanglement with you from this day forward."

She admitted that as a companion, Silas was quite considerate.

But she didn't wish to continue entangling with him.

Vivian used the absolute most freezing attitude to clear her relationship with him completely.

Silas's ink-black eyes locked tightly onto her form, his voice dropping low and baritone.

"Are these your genuine words?"

Vivian slowly shifted her gaze away, "Yes."

Following a long silence, the man departed without uttering another single word.

The closing door let out a loud bang.
