"Rejected by the Alpha" Chapter 8
Blake’s POV~
Arriving at the castle, Royal Beta Liam meets me at the front door.. letting me know the King and Queen were awaiting me in the back garden.. and I asked him “How’s Uncle Paul and Aunt Lydia?” Liam laughs “Eating up being grandparents to quints.. and let me tell you. When they say it takes a village to raise a child.. it takes a fucking metropolis to raise quints. We are all sleepy… and as cranky as the babies” I laugh.. better y’all than me!
As soon as we enter the garden, Damien is up and bro-hugging. He says “Dude! We saw the pics! That girl is a slut!” I laugh and ask “Ya think? That isn’t even the half! I always wanted my mate.. you know? I wanted what you and Lynette have. Guess that’s not for me!”
Lynette says “I don’t know about that! Every person whose bond we have broken.. if it’s done for the right reasons, have been given a second chance mate! That may be you, too!” I shrug.. “in a way.. I hope not. I have met an absolutely amazing woman! And I want to take her as my chosen! Matter of fact.. y’all broke her bond a couple years ago and she has been through absolute hell! Her life was so hard!” Lynette squealed.. “Not Jolene!? Is Jolene the girl? I just like her so much! Her wolf was almost gone.. she was hurt so much! We have received an invitation to her ex- douchebag’s ascension ceremony.. and her brother.. that’s a whole other situation! Man! I don’t want to get pissed off today!”
Damien laughed “Did you ever mate with your mate? I know you didn’t mark her. And did you tell her you were breaking the bond?” I shook my head “Nope to all three!” Lynette clapped her hand and says “Let’s do this thing!”
They each took my hand and within minutes.. I was free.. it literally felt like Odin had been locked in a kennel.. and now he could stand to his full height and stretch. I felt like I could breathe for the first time! Incredible! I felt like dancing!
We were walking inside when my phone rang. I said I will be right in and answered “What is it Dalton!? Everything okay?” And his face looks harried and agitated “If that fucking bitch breaks one more thing in the pack house.. calls your mom another name, I will throw her in the cells.” I am confused and have no idea what he’s going on about! He spins the camera on the phone and Crystelline is literally breaking the pack house. I yell put her ass on the phone.. he calls her over and I say “What the fuck are you doing in my home Crys?” She screams and throws Dalton’s phone and now I have lost contact. I run in and apologize to the royal family and tell them I have to get home before someone is hurt badly.

I am pushing my truck to the limit. I call my dad’s number.. he’s not answering. My mom’s is going straight to voicemail. What The Fuck! I text Jolene asking if she can call me.. it’s important or I wouldn’t ask. And she called immediately. No hesitation.. no doubt. Her voice rushed into my ear
“What is it!? What’s wrong?”
And I responded “I broke my bond with that bitch and she is at my pack house.. I know she’s hurt my mom and I can’t get anyone on the phone. She broke Dalton’s and my dad isn’t answering” and she interrupts “
Okay babe! Deep breaths… take a moment. What do you need me to do? Call 1-800- SlapAHoe? Or.. can I go over there and just slap a hoe?
And I started laughing… she was exactly what I needed! “I am worried she’s hurt my family. I am about 30 minutes out now. I just needed your crazy ass to calm me down! I will be okay now! Thank you Jolene! Never stop being you!” And she comes back with “
Yeah! Yeah! I will meet you there. I’m leaving now!”
And just like that she accepted I needed and stepped up to the plate. Who does that!? Especially to possibly help someone who was so atrociously rude to you.. a true Luna! That’s who!!
Pulling up to the pack house.. lights are out all over and I can hear yelling.. Just as I reached the top step, Jo slid sideways into the driveway and was out running to meet me and we entered together. Crystalline was standing in the dining hall with a gun and before she could turn to face me.. Jolene had left my side.. snuck through the kitchen and was up behind Crystalline with a katana to her throat and growled “Drop the gun.. or you will have no need for a hat ever again!” And I am standing here awestruck. Until Jo slapped the gun away and threw her in my direction.
I’m holding the bitch by the throat and Jolene is yelling for Dalton and my mom and dad. I linked the guards and had them restrain her in silver.. while Jolene helped me search for my family. We found Dalton behind the sofa with a silver bullet in his shoulder. Jolene reached her fingers directly into the wound and pulled the round out.. then drew the silver from his body into her own hand and flung it at the fireplace. He came to enough to let us know my dad was shot.. and my mom pistol whipped.. but he had gotten them to the safe room.. I order the doc to get to my house and treat Dalton and be ready because my dad had been shot too!
Jolene races behind me to find my parents. I get the safe room door open and my father is unconscious.. My mother’s face is black and blue. Jo looks at me and says “Your dad needs surgery.. NOW.. tell them to move their fucking asses! Let me look at your mom. She kneels beside her and starts running her fingers over mom’s face. I see her hands start glowing as she pulls the bruises away… then she lays her palm flat against my mom’s cheek and repairs a broken bone in her cheek. Next, she’s up on her feet staying right beside my dad’s gurney as they run to the hospital at the operating room they tried stopping her and she yoked the doctor up saying “Argue with me any longer and fucking die! I am Not leaving this man! Not for a second! When his heart stops.. and it fucking Will Stop.. I am the only person alive who can restart it. He has two bullets.. one lodged an inch from his heart.. one in his lung! Get his chest open and get them the fuck out so I can save him or his death will be on You! If that happens.. YOU Will Die! MOVE NOW!!”
Hours. It felt like hours! My mom’s face is almost healed. Dalton has his shoulder in a sling.. but his color is better.. I asked “What the fuck happened? How did the situation get away from y’all. And before you get defensive, know I am only holding that psychotic bitch responsible and no one else.” Dalton said “She came to the house.. completely unassuming, acting normal. Well.. her kind of normal…then out of nowhere.. she pulled a gun and shot your dad and knocked your mom out with the butt of the gun. She shot me and I dialed you.. she threw my phone then swung the poker from the fireplace and hit me in the back of the head. Your dad had come to and was running for the safe room carrying your mom.. when she shot him again. I turned off as many lights as I could and she came back looking for me.. that’s when you and the little ninja monkey came in”
I started laughing “That girl is fucking nuts. I never saw the katana and I swear she parkoured off the wall before she threatened the psycho with never needing another hat. “
