"Rejected by the Alpha" Chapter 22
Blake’s POV ~
Calling Damien and apprising him of the situation, he told us he was coming down, and bringing Liam. Lynette is too far along to travel this far.. but would Jolene send her some of her famous baklavas. Which caused us to chuckle.
I called Marty in and apprised him of everything we had heard and what we believed may be going on. He smiles “I’m going to try to get into River Run’s finances… maybe we can find out where the income source stems from. If we can cut off his cash flow..he won’t be able to pay fighters!”
Matthew was on my lap…jabbering about his day.. and tattling on his mommy “and her say Maffew you not allowed in kitchen no more cuz you eat too many focklate chip. But when I ask how many is too many her not even know” and he turns his little palms up.. in an ‘I don’t know’ gesture..and that’s how Damien finds us. I stand him on his little feet and tell him to go ask Dalton to come in and we hear him mumbling “her say I has too many but her don’t know how many is too many” then we hear him ask “Unca Dalton.. mommy says you come get some focklate chips for snack then go see Daddy”
And Damien and I bust out laughing as I yell “Matthew.. no more chocolate! Come in Dalton!” He walks in mumbling “I wanted some chocolate chips for a snack!” And we laughed again… Damien slapped Dalton on the back “Dude! You were being conned by a two year old! They are master manipulators!”
Liam walks in asking who the little manipulator is that almost got his ass kicked by Jolene and we lose it again! I said “My son! The chocolate chip conman!” Marty comes in saying he has broken through two firewalls..but the last three are giving him problems and Liam claps his hand “Ooooh! Gimmeee! I will see what I can do!” And they wandered off to the back table.
Damien asks “Any information from the rogues yet?” I shake my head no and tell him “They’ve been chained in the dark without stimulation of any kind.. other than a faucet dripping. And nursing egos.. Jolene did a serious number on five of them.. and they’re a little pissy about it!” And we laugh.. He says “Well let’s go ask some questions… hopefully, the old fashioned way!”
Jolene joined us laughing about Matthew tattling on her. She said he was blaming Dalton for not coming to get chocolate chip snacks. We walked into the jail and down towards the cells.. as soon as the rogues saw Jolene they said they weren’t saying shit with the crazy woman there. Damien laughed “She’s like 5’2 dude! You’re scared?” The leader rogue said “Dude.. she knocked me out.. Barry can’t talk.. John can’t piss and Tommy couldn’t find his eye! The doc said Isaac will always have a limp!” And again, Damien cracked up! He looked at her and asked “Who the fuck are you?” Dalton says “Ninja Monkey!”

She huffs “They were in my restaurant to cause shit! And I wasn’t having it! I had customers there.. they terrorized poor Demi. I had to send her to the back.. she was shaking! So. Yeah. Fuck that!” We all start laughing about it.. just the visual image of her tiny ass beating the shit out of five grown men!
She turns to the leader and says “Here’s the deal. It’s simple! Answer the questions..and I won’t come in there and beat your ass! That’s not to say the King won’t..or his adjutant..who happens to be my mate! Just saying”
The rogue chokes “The King? Nobody said nothing about the King going to get involved. We were paid to come to this town and find out where the Alpha of River Run.. his mate lives. Something about a kid..and figure the kids schedule.”
I stand there a minute.. grinding my teeth “So.. you were supposed to find out where My mate stays.. find out My son’s schedule? And then what?” The rogue gets impatient “Not YOUR son! And Not Your mate! The mate of River Run Alpha and their kid!”
Dalton leans over to Jolene “Thick..ain’t he?” And she giggles. Damien steps to the cell door and says “Enough! You’re talking in circles! Are you telling me Jacob Taylor hired you and your buddies to come here and do nothing more than observe a woman and her pup and then report back to him?”
He said “Yes! That’s exactly what I’m telling you! And we aren’t the only ones who have been here. He sends us out every few days. Then we report back to him with a cell phone that he gave us. Called it a burner. We just got tired of his bullshit. Five hundred each for three days ain’t bad.. but then he thinks he’s the boss of us. So we figured this time we grab dinner and head south.”
I said “I think you’re probably headed North…like the Kingdom… you should never have come here. But you are the lucky ones. The other ten with you didn’t make it!” And he laughed…”We only travel in groups of ten. They weren’t with us! So the jokes on you..and my guess is there’s more hanging around the borders. It ain’t nothing to walk right through. There ain’t shit for guards or border patrol over at that Smoky Moon!”
Damien looks over and asks “That’s why I’m here..to see what’s happening with Smoky Moon?” And shaking my head I said “I’m ordering my own border patrol to run their border the same as my own.. and it’s going to wear my people thin”
We decided there was not much else to learn here.. Jolene was bored, she said. Accusing the rogues of being pussies for taking money to spy then not even causing problems. And Dalton says “Good Goddess! Your son is a manipulator and you’re an instigator!”
Marty yells “We’re in! And that boy is burning through pack funds like crazy! They are complete idiots! Everything about that pack is on this server! Every little thing! Nothing is encrypted.. just click..and whatever information you want about them pops up!” We laughed at his enthusiasm while Liam told us “Marty has real potential! He could learn a lot.. under my tutelage.. of course.. because I’m the best!” Jolene says “and so humble…” which really had us laughing

Vows of Silver and Stone
In the Silver Moon Pack, Seraphina Novak was nothing but meat. As a "worthless, packless Omega" who couldn't even shift, she spent her youth scrubing the floors of the pack castle. But on her eighteenth birthday, the universe played a cruel joke—it tied her soul to Kilian, the ruthless, newly crowned Alpha, as his Fated Mate. Instead of salvation, Seraphina received the ultimate humiliation. To secure a political alliance with her cruel, golden-child sister, Kilian tore the sacred bond apart in front of the entire pack: “I, Alpha Kilian, reject you as my mate. You are too weak to bear my heirs, and too worthless to lead my pack.” Stripped of her mother’s heirlooms and bleeding from the agonizing rejection, Seraphina was exiled into a deadly, unforgiving blizzard. The pack celebrated her departure, assuming the fragile, red-haired girl would freeze to death in the wilderness. They didn’t know that extreme despair is the perfect catalyst for a sleeping god. Four years later. The Silver Moon Pack is hosting a grand Supernatural Summit, desperately trying to beg for the favor of the Firstborns—the oldest, most terrifying Lycan family in existence. When the grand doors swing open, the "worthless exile" returns. Draped in emerald silk and dripping in wealth, Seraphina walks in. She isn't a broken Omega anymore. She is the shadow king of the supernatural black market, a Grand Master Witch, and the holder of the extinct Royal White Wolf lineage. With a single flick of her wrist, she bankrupts the Silver Moon’s entire empire. Furious and jealous, Kilian and her sister demand the guards throw the "trash" out. But the room falls into a suffocating, lethal silence. Alistair Von Rothschild, the centuries-old, platinum-haired ruler of the Firstborns—a man whose very name is a death sentence—descends from his throne. Ignoring the trembling Alpha entirely, Alistair drops to one knee before Seraphina. His striking violet eyes burn with a lethal possessiveness as he kisses her knuckles: “My Queen, you kept me waiting.” As Alistair’s ancient aura crushes the room, Kilian’s wolf soul instantly forces him to his knees, shattering his pride at the feet of the woman he once threw away.Mutual Pining|Dark Secrets|Werewolves|Possessive Love|Reunion Romance12.4k words5 0 -

One Night With The Hidden Alpha
Claire Reyes only wanted one reckless night. One night to forget: the fellowship she lost, the boyfriend who called her “emotionally exhausting,” and the terrifying feeling that no matter how hard she worked, she would never truly be chosen by anyone. The kind of man people instinctively moved aside for without understanding why. Claire should have stayed away. Instead, slightly drunk and emotionally wrecked, she looked at the devastating stranger across the room and asked: “Do you want to have a one-night stand with me?” That should have been the end of it.
