"Rejected by the Alpha" Chapter 29
I’m confused. And I have prayed to Mother Moon for resolution. It finally came to me last night. I have to forgive Tyler.. not for him.. for myself. For my babies. And for my Daddy. He needs his family whole. So, I’m on a mission!
Blake swoops me up from behind.. and I giggle “Where is my beautiful girl off to with such a determined look?” I smiled up at him “You are so fucking uselessly tall! You give me a crick in my neck!” He laughed and lifted me to wrap my legs around his waist, whispering “I will just carry you everywhere, then!” And it was my turn to laugh. I told him “I want Tyler to tell us everything he knows today! And I want to tell him I forgive him. I don’t know if we will ever feel the closeness a brother and sister should feel.. But.. I need to forgive him..for me. For our family. So.. I was on my way to the cells.”
Tyler stood immediately and whispered “Joey” I stepped up to him, and wrapped my arms around his waist. He didn’t hug me back, at first. Then, he let loose a low sob..pulling me tight against him he kept crying “I’m sorry. I am so sorry” and I stepped back a shook my head “No. Ty. No more. I forgive you. And, I have always loved you. I have to forgive you for me! For my family! My children.” He smiled at me through his tears “You are too good for this world, Jo! Your heart is pure gold. And I will be forever grateful the Goddess gave you to me..my baby sister! Thank you for forgiving me!” I smiled at him and took his hand “Come.. I will bring you to Daddy and Alice’s house. They have your room ready, and Matthew is there.”
Arriving at the house, Alice kissed my cheek and hugged Tyler. Matthew came running in from the backyard with Daddy and he yelled “Unca Ty! You a good boy now? You out of time outs?” And we laughed at him. He scooped Mattie up ..tossing him high and catching him.. causing two year old giggles to erupt all over the house! I said “Tyler, we will let you get settled in.. then you and Daddy need to come to the war room. We need to know what you know. Damien and Lynette will be there soon.”
Blake is waiting for me “How’d it go? Are you okay?” I smiled at this amazing man of mine “I am okay. I really am. My heart needed it. When I am bothered by anything.. my chest always feels so heavy. Now.. I’m lighthearted again and all’s right in our world! Time to kick some ass and rid us of this blight on our happily ever after!” He laughed “Let’s get our plans set in motion then!”

Damien and Lynette were already in the war room. I grabbed coffee for Lynette and me. She laughed “I thought I was the only one who loved her coffee.. We are like sisters from another mister!” And I laughed with her. Then she smirked “Sooo… twins, huh!? I’m actually envious! We had the quints! Then the triplets! Eight, count them…eight fucking kids, all under three! Good times at our house! Anytime you want to babysit.. or Matthew wants a playdate.. I’m your gal! As long as you don’t mind finding your kid being levitated around the room.. or floating in a bubble.. or turned into a kitty cat! Yeah! Good times!” And we all cracked up!
Tyler and Daddy came in.. grabbed something to drink and he walked directly to Blake “I am Tyler Garrett! And, I solemnly promise I will never do anything to hurt or harm your mate again!” And Blake grins evilly “I know you won’t. I wouldn’t hesitate to kill you!” Tyler laughed “ I would like to petition a pack transfer..as soon as possible” Blake says “Would you like to do it now? You can watch your old buddy feel the bond snap.” Tyler laughed “Fuck yeah! That will be the best entertainment I’ve had in years!”
Marty and Liam patched into the cameras at River Run.. we watched as Tyler refused to renounce River Run..and pledged directly to Bear Creek. Jacob hit his knees..grabbing his chest and John threw a chair through the wall. Then Jacob screamed “Find that Mother Fucker now!” And Lynette laughed “Morgana is going to be a miserable bitch! She’s going to be feeling the beginning of her plan falling apart! Damien.. I need Mom here. I want to carve runes..get them spelled.. we need to ward the territory. Morgana will do everything in her power to break them..so they have to be stronger than ours!”
Tyler said “Let me tell you what I know! Morgana is an enchantress. And she controls John and Jacob at every turn. She shows up when she wants.. and we never know when she will pop in! Jacob had been hiring mercenaries and rogues for about six months.. he has to make a move soon.. his funds are running low.. He wants Matthew..and he wants the crown. Anyone he can kill along the way is just bonus! Gloria can’t have pups.. they don’t know why.. and they know it isn’t Jacob’s fault.. because he is Matthew’s father.” Blake cuts in “But he isn’t. Blake is one hundred percent MY son. And a DNA test will prove it! So what if we get that done? Would that make a difference?” And Tyler looks confused as fuck “How!? How is he yours? That makes no sense. And it would give Jacob a fucking aneurysm! The last I heard.. his plans are to attack in two weeks. Something about the baby’s birthday.. how he knows that, I’m not sure! I don’t know Matthew’s birthday and Dad never shared! And we all know he never gave up any information in regard to you, Joey..or the baby!”
Damien says “So.. two weeks. Lynette..you and Colette get to setting the wards. Blake and I will get our soldiers in a combined training program so they can learn one another’s strategy. Liam.. you and Marty get security cameras up.. I want every inch of the border covered. And for Goddess’s sake.. get us some drone operators for recon out away from the border. We need to speak with Alpha Thomas and see what he has in the line of warriors. He’s not getting out of this scot free!”
Tyler interrupted “Thomas? Smoky Moon? Didn’t y’all know he’s been sending his warriors to Jacob for exclusive training? I would have mentioned it earlier. I thought you knew. He allows rogues to pass through his territory all the time.” And Blake was out of his seat and moving..before the rest of us could catch up.. Until I yelled “Helloooo? Walking fucking tree!! My legs can’t keep up!” And he laughed.. stopping he bent down and said “Hop on!”
