"The Dragon’s Forsaken Mate" Chapter 50
Odessa
The whole next day was spent in bed. I was completely exhausted, and I wasn't sure how he could keep going. Dragons must have excellent stamina. There would be times I would get an hour's reprieve only to feel his pain through this mating bond and I would immediately wake up to help him. He kept telling me to go back to sleep, but how could I do that when he was suffering so much?
I mean, we weren't suffering while we 'did it,' so I didn't see the problem. By dawn the next day, the intervals slowed, and we actually slept. I was thankful for the mysterious baskets that continued to show up at the entrance of the cave. More of the witch hazel oils, soothing creams, and medicinal herbs showed up, some of which gave my lady parts a good rest.
Creed would stop and drink a hot tea that smelled like coffee often. When I asked why he was drinking it, since he had never drunk the stuff before, he told me it helped him not put a fledgling in me yet. That sparked a whole new conversation about what a fledgling was and let's just say I was grateful we did not have to worry about bringing a baby into the world right now.
I had initially still worried about the first few times we had done it, but he said I was not 'ripe.' Meaning ovulating, so I 'should' be alright. I pursed my lips at that statement, because who knows how long supernatural sperm can survive in a human uterus?
This morning's basket that was brought in was extra special because a certain pet came along with it. Fluffy came prancing into the cave, his eyes brightening when he saw me. "Fluffy!" he ran up to me and gave me cat lick kisses. Creed only chortled, setting the basket down on the small table we had been eating and maybe mated on a few times. I started blushing, thinking about that poor table.
"What are you laughing at?" I blinked, confused. His enormous smile was from ear to ear, another look I would have to get used to. He was so handsome before and now, with his ability to move his face, he could make me drop my panties all over again despite my still throbbing bits.
"It's funny you call him that," he spoke, sitting on the bed next to me.
"What do you call him then? All I heard you do was make clicking and whistling noises." Bobbing his head, he scratched under his chin.
"I did, but in my head I called him Razak, but he wouldn't know that, so I believe we will just have to call him Fluffy." I laughed loudly. My big bad dragon taking Fluffy for walks sounded like the funniest thing.
After breakfast, Creed went outside to let his dragon out. He needed to fly and feel the sky beneath his wings, and I opted to stay inside and shower. As many times as we used the shower, I often got out more dirty. The hot steam felt great on my body, soothing muscles I didn't know I had. Steam rose until the entire room was engulfed in a giant cloud.

Stepping out, wrapping a big fluffy towel around me, I cleared the mirror with my hand. This cave could have been rented out on Earth as a high-end rustic room that would have cost thousands of dollars for the night, but here we were staying in it for free. As much as I missed some of the modernities of Earth, I enjoyed the simplistic life here.
No computers, no phones, just one with nature and making relationships with those you care about. The magic was so real, so organic that you could almost feel it flowing through the air that surrounds you. I didn't even consider Earth home anymore. This was my home, even though we had spent little time back at his cave. Anywhere Creed was, that was my home.
Pulling the towel down from my hair, it laid in clumps on my shoulder. A strong itch started on my hip until I couldn't take it anymore and dropped the towel. Tiny little lumps appeared, white in color, with hints of purple and blue. "What the?" Razak came inside the bathroom, sniffing around my hip.
He licked it, only making me jump in surprise when I fell right into Creed's arms. "See, even your body calls to me when you think I'm gone." Creed's lips kissed my cheek. "Are you alright? I felt your worry as I came inside?"
"I'm not sure." I scratched at my hip again. "I'm really itchy, right here." pointing to my hip, Creed got on his knees to inspect. He brushed it with his fingers. A cooling sensation went over the bumps and had me sigh. Kissing my hip, he stood up and put a robe around my body. "Your scales are coming in."
"Eh?" I gripped the towel I had laid on the counter, still scratching my exposed hip.
"Your scales, Fawn. You are getting close to shifting." My body shivered. I knew I had a dragon inside me, but I didn't think it would be this soon. Everything was happening so fast. We just became mates, dealing with the drama of a scary vampire chasing me and his crazy brother, dealing with a rut and now my body was going to transform into a beastly dragon.
Creed's dragon purred, that one deep purr that could seep into the ground that caused the doe to calm so she could give birth to her two babies. I instantly sighed, putting my head into his bare chest.
"Will it hurt?" Creed cupped the back of my head, his thumb tilting my chin.
"Nothing like what other shifters go through. The dragon magic, the puffs of smoke, will wrap your body to numb you as you transform. It will take time for your first shift, but I will be there with you throughout the transformation." I bit my lip, still not liking the sound of breaking my body into a bunch of pieces.

"It will only feel different, like pressure." Creed stood back. "Come, I know a way to get rid of the itching feeling." Creed held out his hand. I grabbed it instantly as he walked me out of the bathroom.
"Wait a minute," I stared accusingly at him. "Are we going to have sex? Does that make the itching go away?" Creed's dragon let out a joyous laugh.
"No, but we can certainly do that!" His gruff voice sent a chill down my body that I instantly shook off.
....
Queen Willa had clothes sent for me, tons of beautiful dresses that I could never see myself wearing. When I was with Creed, I enjoyed wearing soft leather pants and tops. It made me feel wilder and freer like he was, but he really wanted me to wear one particular dress I couldn't say no to.
The smirk on his face said something, but still unable to read his new facial cues, I obliged, and we headed out of the cave.
The sign was still there, along with others on the beach, giving the same warning. My face flushed thinking of all the people that could have walked by and heard us doing things, knowing full and well what we were doing. Creed rolled his eyes, grabbed my hand, led me to a path close to the cave.
Like the other different terrains of this world, this one held the magical fairy feeling you could imagine in fairy tales. The trees were covered in bright colors. Some trees that should be more like bushes held small houses and tiny little gardens. Creed explained what sprites are, which I found out the tiny little not-a-fairy-man was indeed a sprite and does not speak our words.
It was a relief to tell Creed that story. He wasn't much of a fan of those little creatures, anyway. We passed by several ponds, where I found water nymphs that tried to jump out of the water and play with my hair. One growl from Creed and they all jumped back in, screaming.
The path continued upwards, higher above the cave we had been staying until we came to a small cliff. It was the same height as the beautiful palace that was further down the beach. "I thought you might like this view." Creed pulled out the bag he was carrying full of food. It wasn't filled with the fruits and vegetables I had been munching on but of meat.
I wanted to turn my nose up at it. I didn't enjoy eating just meat and had grown accustomed to the Elven and fae food being brought. "I know you don't like it," he whispered. Leaning backward, I was shocked he could read me so well. "But,... your scales have come out and you need the meat to fill your dragon. It will make a smoother transition. That's what my mother always told me, anyway." Creed pulled out a fresh cut of meat, and it was raw. Some blood was dripping off the parchment paper onto the thick, deep purple grass we were sitting on.

A stiff wind flew past us, and my nose caught a whiff of the raw steak. It didn't smell repulsive, as I have smelled Creed's when eating raw meat many times before. In fact, it made my dragon push me towards the smell, having me hover over it while he cut it. "See, your dragon needs it."
"You are treating me like a baby. I mean fledgling," I corrected myself.
He grinned at that, cutting the meat into bite-sized pieces. "You haven't grown up with dragons, so of course, I'll treat you like a fledgling. I want my mate strong, and this will get you there." I eyed the meat suspiciously. The blood dripping from his fingers would normally gross me out, but the smell had me eyeing it carefully.
"Come on, one big bite, get it over with." Going to pick it up with my fingers, he pulls it away.
"Let me feed you," he muttered. "It's what mates do." I bit my lip. If I saw a couple on Earth doing this I would have laughed my ass off, but this was his culture and it was endearing how he gave me big puppy eyes..
My lips go around his fingers, sucking the meat into my mouth. Chewing slowly at first, my tastebuds blasted to life. It didn't taste raw at all. The texture was smooth and the blood gave it a sweet tang I would have never tasted before. I nodded my head, covering my mouth. "Its good!" Creed cut more pieces, continuing to feed himself and me.
Once we were done, my belly was full and my body felt rejuvenated. "You are further along than I thought." Creed held my back to his front as we watched the birds fly over the sea.
"What do you mean?" Looking down at my arm, the white dots had now turned to beautiful white radiant scales, my nails back into those beautiful purple claws. "Oh, my gosh!" I sat up, Creed only pulling me back.
"Your dragon wanted meat the past few days. That is why you were so exhausted." Creed's finger trailed up and down my arm, trying to calm me.
"W-when will it happen?" I panicked. My dress that only reached to my mid-thigh flew upwards, exposing my underwear. Pushing it down quickly, Creed's finger trailed back up the inner part of my leg.
"Not now.” His lips kissed the shell of my ear. "She's waiting."
"Waiting?" I tilted my head back, looking into my dragon's eyes. "Waiting for what?"
"For my rut to be over," My dragon mate's lips pressed firmly to mine, his tongue seeking the warmth of my mouth. He had me flipped over so quickly, I didn't have time to get dizzy. The overhanging willow tree covered us from the skies of any wandering eyes, his member pushing into my slightly bruised core.
"Do you still hurt?" He growled into my mouth. I shook my head. It doesn't hurt anymore now that you've got yourself making me a hot mess! "Your mouth to me is erotic around my shaft, but I want to sheath myself into you, feel your warmth around my cock."
Hecker's he's using those words! What happened to the beast!?
"I want to fuck your pussy," his hips dipped, rubbing his leather on the thin fabric of my undergarments. I swear a puddle pooled right there on the grass as he chuckled into my ear, kissing down my neck. "You say you like my words, but I hear your heart quicken when I use yours," he nipped my neck.
"I-I like both?" I questioned myself, "H-how did you go so long not needing to... you know?" His kisses became bites on my collarbone as my breath flowed over his tough skin.
"Tea," he growled. His face trailed down between my legs, moving the undergarment to the side, licking my delicate bundle of nerves.
"What is up with the tea around here?" my voice shook. Creed had my undergarments down in an instant, his cock already pulled out of his leather pants.
"It's supposed to last longer," he groaned, fisting himself. "I thought we would have the afternoon to sit to bathe in the light." His hand rubbed his cock, his leaky faucet now dripping all over my leg.
"I'm not complaining," I shrugged my shoulders, "although it looks suspicious that you made me a wear a dress and all," I said, digging my new claws into his butt. He pushed forward, entering quickly. Creed moved his cock up and down in my cave. My body squeezed, feeling the sweet burn of his shaft rubbing in and out of my body.
"You just feel so good," he growled. "I need it, like I need air." My legs wrapped around him, my hips rolling with his. I swear if someone sees us just might die. We were on a cliff and our groans and grunts were echoing down to the beach. "Harder Prince Charming." I leaned my head to the side, his fangs piercing my mark. He was a biter and the shot of adrenaline coming from his venom had my dragon growling back at him. My dragon pushed forward, rolling Creed to his back in surprise. I rocked my hips, gripping his chest muscles with my claws. "Odessa, gods!" pushing my claws deeper into his grip tightened on my hips.
Creed pulled the string of the front corset dress that kept my breasts hidden. Pulling it apart, he swiftly sat up, sucking my nipple. Wrapping my arms around his head to balance myself, pushing him deeper into my chest, I rode him was a fury I had never felt. We both moan each other's name, whispering, 'I love you's' at the same time. The warmth of his cum coated me, making the scales sit straight up on my body. As he relaxed, my pleasure was still happening, my climax didn't stop.
It continued to build higher and higher until a deep purple plume of smoke gathered around our bodies. I was on too much of a high to realize the extent of what was happening. Creed groaned, laying me on the ground, the pleasure still spiking. My back arched as I screamed for mercy.
Cool scales trickled down my arms, legs, and torso, a frightening roar left my throat.
"That's it. Keep going, you are doing great." Creed's words of comfort seeped into my ears. His large hands never left my torso as he nuzzled me while the smoke surrounded us. Lightning burst forth from the cloud, sparks of silver dust gathered around my body.
"Almost there," Creed laid beside me, his own black smoke intertwined with mine. I felt no pain, just the pressure of my body shifting into something that was not human. Rolling onto my stomach, the purple smoke erupted higher above my head, lightning cracking several more times until my head reared back and a massive roar left my scaled lips.
