"The Crimson Rose Reclaimed" Chapter 1

Chapter 1

The exact moment Sienna’s soul snapped back into her body, a wave of absolute reality crashed over her.

She knew with complete certainty that the transmigrator had been thoroughly erased.

Looking down at the thin, shallow lacerations scoring her wrists, she stepped out of the bathtub and bound the wounds with a simple layer of gauze.

Sienna approached the mirror, her brows drawing together as she stared at the emancipated, lifeless reflection gazing back at her.

Five years ago, she had been the untouchable eldest daughter of the Fontaine family, a force to be reckoned with within New York's elite circle—vibrantly known to outsiders as the "Crimson Rose."

Yet a devastating car crash had thrown her into a deep coma, and it wasn't until six months later that she finally woke.

Upon waking, Sienna discovered that another consciousness had manifested inside her mind.

That intruder communicated with an entity called a "System," through which Sienna gradually came to understand everything.

The transmigrator needed to borrow her body to complete a mission: securing the affection of a fallen heir, Shane Vance.

She had helped him rise from the ashes, desperately grinding away to build his favorability while orbiting Shane like a pathetic, sycophantic lapdog.

She even gave birth to his son, but little Nate showed absolutely no affection toward the transmigrator.

All because Shane harbored a sacred "white moonlight" in his heart—Stella Lyne—a woman for whom he would squander millions just to coax a fleeting smile.

He had even set off fireworks across the entire city just to celebrate her birthday.

...

No matter how hard the transmigrator strained, she could never win Shane's heart back.

Every attempt ended with the transmigrator screaming and demanding answers in a hysterical rage.

Yet, the only response she ever received was Shane's heavy, crushing silence.

As the transmigrator watched Shane's favorability score steadily plummet to zero, Nate grew to look upon her with absolute disgust.

Ultimately, the transmigrator's mission had ended in absolute failure.

Sienna gently stroked her own cheek, a faint smile gracing her lips as she thought to herself, A little rest and nourishment is all it will take.

Without delay.

She changed into a fresh outfit, applied a subtle touch of makeup, and descended the stairs.

The servants, however, chose to ignore her completely, refusing to grant Sienna even a passing glance.

"Go steep a cup of tea."

Sienna directed her cold command toward a servant who was loitering idly nearby.

The servant merely cast a sideways glance at her, making no move to comply.

Sienna's expression hardened as she raised her voice, "I told you to go steep some tea. Did you not hear me?"

"You have perfectly good hands and feet, don't you? Go get it yourself."

Crack—

Sienna delivered a resounding slap straight across the servant’s face, sending a shockwave of stunned silence through everyone in the house.

Right then.

A tiny figure came rushing over, throwing his weight forward to shove Sienna back with all his might.

"You bad woman! How dare you hit Grandma Lyne! Get out of this house right now!"

Sienna narrowed her eyes at the little boy standing before her, recognizing him instantly. This was Nate.

Her biological son.

Sienna had almost forgotten.

Stella’s mother worked as a maid in this house, yet she carried herself with far more laziness than the actual owners.

It seemed she had been relying entirely on Nate to back her up.

Sienna turned on her heel, pulling out a tissue to meticulously wipe down each of her fingers.

"Validating a mere servant as your grandmother only proves how abysmal your upbringing has truly become. It seems we desperately need an etiquette tutor to teach you some proper manners."

Nate defiantly planted his hands on his hips, completely dismissing Sienna's words.

"I don't care what you say! Daddy and Mommy Stella are going to be home any minute! Why haven't you started cooking dinner yet?!"

Cooking?

Sienna scoffed inwardly. She was born into nobility and had never dirtied her hands with such trivial domestic chores; only that pathetic transmigrator would ever stoop to doing such filthy, exhausting labor.

Seeing Sienna remain entirely unfazed, Nate moved forward, clearly intending to strike her again.

In the next second, Sienna caught him firmly by the ear.

"Did I give you permission to touch me?"

"Let me go! You bad person! I'm telling Daddy!"

Nate thrashed and struggled wildly, striking terror into the surrounding servants, though none of them dared to step forward.

After all... the Sienna standing before them today seemed entirely different from before...

"What is all this racket?"

The moment Shane’s sharp voice cut through the air from outside, Sienna released her grip.

Nate shot forward like a slick little eel, instantly hurling his grievances at Shane.

"Daddy, she hit Grandma Lyne, and she was just trying to hit me too..."

Hearing that her mother had been assaulted, Stella's face flushed with instant fury.

"Sienna, don't you think you're taking things too far?!"

"What kind of creature do you think you are, daring to speak to me in that tone?"

Sienna fired back icily, her gaze sweeping imperceptibly across Shane’s face.

He was undeniably handsome, but his expression was frozen in a bitter coldness, completely devoid of any warmth toward her.

Shane glared at her, "Apologize."

"The person who can command an apology from Sienna Fontaine has yet to be born."

The absolute confidence blazing in Sienna’s eyes caught Shane completely off guard.

Without skipping a beat.

Sienna pointed a finger at Stella’s mother, offering a serene smile, "You're fired. Pack your things and get out this instant. Otherwise, I will call the police to report a trespasser on private property."

"Enough!" Shane bellowed, cutting her off as his frigid gaze sharpened with an icy edge.

"Sienna, first you try to threaten me by slitting your wrists, and now you're trying to throw Mrs. Lyne out of the house. Isn't all this theatrical nonsense just a desperate ploy to force me to stay home with you? Fine, I will stay and have dinner with you tonight, but you must apologize to Mrs. Lyne first!"

Looking at Shane as if he were an absolute idiot, Sienna completely ignored his bargaining.

Right in front of everyone, she dialed the emergency services.

They initially thought she was merely bluffing, until the police arrived at the front door and escorted everyone out of the estate.

Only then did they finally realize that Sienna wasn't joking.

As a quiet stillness settled over the living room, Sienna returned to the study and dialed the number for Lawyer Carter.

"Within one week, I want the usage rights for every single piece of real estate under my name completely revoked."

"Furthermore, prepare a divorce agreement for me, along with a total severance of parental rights."

Chapter 2

By the time Shane returned with Nate and Stella, the night had already grown deep.

Stella stood weeping at the threshold, her tears cascading down her cheeks.

"Shane, it seems my very presence here only brings distress to Sienna. Perhaps it is best if I simply return home."

Stella bit her lower lip trembling, looking every bit the fragile, victimized soul.

Sienna was currently standing at the balcony of the second floor, elegantly holding a cup of freshly warmed milk.

Filled with overwhelming heartache, Shane pulled Stella into a protective embrace, soothing her, "Stella, as long as I am here, nothing will happen to you."

A gentle tenderness softened his eyes as he took Stella by the hand.

Nate followed suit, obediently grasping Stella’s other hand.

Together, they walked into the house.

That picture-perfect scene.

To anyone unaware of the truth, they would have looked exactly like a loving family of three.

Shane halted his steps in the center of the living room, casting a heavy, brooding glare up at Sienna.

"Apologize."

He squeezed those words out from between his teeth, but to Sienna, he looked utterly unhinged.

Sienna didn't even bother to answer, turning her gaze instead toward the room directly behind her.

That room.

It had originally been Sienna's master bedroom.

But ever since Stella moved in, it had been usurped as her personal quarters.

"Is everything packed up yet?"

Sienna looked back, throwing out a sharp demand.

A flock of servants immediately filed out of the room, their arms laden with Stella’s personal belongings.

"Sienna! What is the meaning of this?!"

Stella's eyes flushed red instantly, her expression twisting into a mask of stubborn defiance.

Sienna knew full well that the woman was deliberately playing the innocent white lotus for Shane's benefit, and she had no intention of wasting her breath.

"Throw it all out."

Sienna raised her hand with absolute elegance, casually taking a slow sip of her milk.

"I dare anyone to move a single thing!"

Shane roared in a fury, a profound rage coloring his dark eyes.

Sienna simply pointed toward the front door. The moment her frigid gaze swept over the servants, they dared not delay a second longer, rushing forward to dump the armfuls of belongings straight out into the yard.
