"My Ex's Secret Life" Chapter 13
Qin Yue stared at me blankly, her eyes instantly misting over.
"Aiden..."
"So, Uncle Qin, Auntie Qin," I turned back to the two of them, took a deep breath, and took out a velvet box I had prepared for a long time from my pocket.
I knelt on one knee and, under everyone's gaze, opened the box.
Inside was a brilliant, dazzling diamond ring.
"Please let your daughter marry me. I promise I will use my whole life to love her, protect her, and let her be that lawless, willful little demoness forever."
"I am willing to use everything I have to guard her smile."
As my words faded, Qin Yue's tears couldn't be held back any longer and flooded out.
She covered her mouth, sobbing uncontrollably.
Auntie Qin joined in, wiping away tears.
Only Uncle Qin kept a straight face, but his eye sockets were quietly turning red.
He cleared his throat, struggling to maintain the dignity of the head of the household.
"Hmph, I suppose you know how to talk, young man."
He paused, looked at his daughter who had become a tear-filled mess, and finally relented.
"Yue, what are you still standing there for? Aren't his knees tired from kneeling?"
Qin Yue finally snapped out of it; she nodded vigorously while crying and laughing.
"I do! Aiden, I do!"
I smiled and slipped the ring onto her ring finger.
Under the sunlight, the radiance of the diamond and the smiling face of the one I love reflected off each other.
I stood up and pulled her into my arms.
"Wife."
"Mm!"
Not far away, Chloe leaned against the car, watched us, and smiled with gratification.
She took out her phone, snapped a picture of this scene, and posted it to her social feed.
[After all the twists and turns, it's still you. Wishing my brother and sister, a happy marriage.]
The attached photo was of me and Qin Yue kissing.
Below, countless likes and comments appeared instantly.
Among them, one person's comment was particularly conspicuous.
It was Julian.
He only sent two words.
[Congratulations.]
Seeing this, Chloe sneered and blocked him directly.
Some people simply don't deserve to appear in their world.
And the story of me and Qin Yue has only just begun.
Holding the person in my arms, feeling her real body temperature and heartbeat, I felt an unprecedented sense of satisfaction.
"Wife, let's go home."
"Okay, let's go home." She nodded vigorously in my arms.
Yes, home.
Wherever you are, that is home.
I lowered my head and kissed her forehead. The sun was just right, and the breeze was gentle.
Everything was the best arrangement.
I leaned over and whispered a sentence in her ear.
After hearing it, Qin Yue was stunned for a moment, then her cheeks turned explosive red, and she reached out to pinch me.
"Aiden, you scoundrel!"
I laughed and dodged, took her hand, and ran toward that bright future that belongs to us.
What I said just now was:
"Wife, let's go home and have a little demoness."

Claire stepped forward. “And you accepted a man who came to you already used.” Madison’s smile vanished. “At least he chose me.” “Did he choose you, or did he just run toward whatever was easier?” Ethan suddenly moved between them, but Claire’s final words landed first. “A cheater doesn’t choose anyone. He just repeats his mistakes.” Camera flashes exploded. Furious, Madison ordered security to throw Claire out.
